Sampler Series of Mini Desktop Simplex Extruders
The Sunlab Sampler Series are a robust bench top mini extruder range capable of homogeneously mixing, refining and extruding soap and allied material. It is generally used by laboratories for research and development of new and
existing soap formulae, colours and fragrances. It will process vegetable,
synthetic and also translucents when used in conjunction with the High Shear Mixing Head Assembly, as well as non soap detergent (NSD) and other abrasive bases when using the Stainless Steel Worm & Support Plate. A recent addition has been the production of surfactant powders and needles when processed through the Surfactant Needles Cutting Head Assembly.
In standard form it can be used to produce strip or shaped samples up to a maximum of 38mm diameter giving a maximum 75g soap bar size for conventional bases or slightly greater for translucent bases. And will successfully produce samples with as little as 600g of base and complete a many as 40 samplings per day by using a spare barrel set.
Designed primarily for research, development and fragrance applications these compact machines refine and homogeneously mix the bases additives and with the addition of a hydraulic cylinder in the CVC Compression Head Assembly, produce larger bars (up to 150g) than are normally associated with this size of extruder.
